Future of Capitalism 2025 (詳細)
The Future of Capitalism (FoC) Project is a new global leadership education program led by IESE (Spain) and Shizenkan University (Japan), in collaboration with 17 business and policy schools on five continents. It aims to be a catalyst for personal reflection by inviting speakers with a variety of thought-provoking views and opinions.
For the 2025 edition of the FoC program, we make six of the 11 sessions open to the general public.
Please note that all sessions are in English and the translation will not be provided.

Joining her are Sandra Wu, member of the United Nations Global Compact Board, who brings deep insights into global sustainability and corporate responsibility, Arun Maira, former Chairman of the Boston Consulting Group India, who will share his perspectives on business leadership in a rapidly changing world, and Prof. Olawale Ajai of Lagos Business School, who will share his perspective rooted in African management philosophy.

Pavan, author of Corporation 2020, has been a leading advocate for sustainable economic models and the integration of environmental considerations into business decisions. In this session, we will dive into the core ideas from Corporation 2020, where Pavan discusses the future of corporations and their role in driving sustainable change. His insights on redefining corporate value creation, focusing on the long-term impact rather than short-term profit, will set the stage for an enlightening conversation.

We will be joined by Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever and co-author of Net Positive, who will share his insights on how business leaders can drive positive change in the world while ensuring long-term sustainability. Roman Krznaric, a social philosopher and Senior Research Fellow at Oxford University, will challenge us to think deeply about our legacy, offering ideas on how we can embrace the concept of being “Good Ancestors” and create a future that serves the well-being of generations to come.
